Purpose of the research
In the past, football fans have driven great social changes. Pledgeball is a fan-run charity increasing the visibility of the environmentally-friendly choices their football fans make. This study explores the impact of Pledgeball on the potential for football fans to drive social change through their conversations.

What taking part involves
The survey takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete. No special knowledge is required for you to complete it.
Your participation is voluntary, you do not have to answer all the questions if you do not want to, and you may withdraw from the study at any point, by closing your browser. Please answer as honestly as you can.
A few participants will be randomly invited to take part in an interview. If you are interviewed, you will be entered into the prize draw a second time.

Benefits of taking part
You will be entered into a prize draw (Terms and conditions apply). You have a 14% chance of winning a prize. Prizes include:

Your data
The information provided by you in the survey will be treated as confidential and stored securely until the end of the project. Your name or any other identifying information will not be disclosed in any presentation or publication of the research. It will be impossible to trace this information back to you individually. The anonymous data itself will be held indefinitely and may be used to produce reports, presentations, and academic publications. If you win tickets to next season's Champions League, and you have given us permission to do so, your name and email address will be passed to Mastercard in order to organise the tickets.
If for any reason you wish to withdraw your data, please contact one of the researchers within a week of your participation.
